How to Change Decimals to Fraction- Easy Math Games for Kids
This mathematics activity is an easy game that can be played by young youths and kids to develop better math thinking and improve mental calculations. In this game, you will learn to convert decimals into a fraction or mixed number.
The instructions for the games are:
Firstly, a statement will appear on the screen. It will say to turn a decimal to a mixed number. A decimal number is one in which a quantity is divided by a decimal point. A mixed number on the other hand is a fraction with a whole number. You need to solve the decimal and convert it into a mixed number using estimation or you can do it in another way too.
For instance, if you are given 2.6, you will take the number before the decimal as the whole number which in this example is 2, and the number after the decimal point as the numerator which is 6. Next, you will keep 10 as the denominator of the mixed number because if you see that the number 10 has only one zero and there is one number after the decimal point in 2.6. Some balloons will pop out that will carry some answers out of which only one will be correct. The answer you get will be on one of the balloons and you will click on that balloon.
If you choose the correct answer the game will continue and you will be able to play on. The number of correct answers you give will be added to your score along. If you choose the wrong answer you will lose your game and it will end but you can start it again with a 0 score. You can play this game with your friends to see who the one with the most score is and that person will win!
