What is so good about e-learning
With the advancement in technologies, there is a constant need to change the education morale and the way the subjects are being taught, right from a primary age of the child. To accommodate this growing demand, there exists a model of learning called as e-Learning. This particular style of learning is suitable not only for the kids but for a person of any age. There are many benefits which are present with e-Learning and hence is an easy and comfortable choice for many. Following are the list of benefits and features that come as a good package when it comes to e-Learning.
- Flexibility:
- Not at a fixed place:
- Scalability:
- Lesser chopping of trees
- Saves time and money
The most powerful feature that is present in the e-Learning is the flexibility. There is no time constraint or strict regulations that usually direct people to show attention during a fixed part of the day. Hence, people can learn the required topics at that time of the day when they are convenient. Additionally, there is a benefit that the learning pace is defined by oneself but not by the other person. Hence, there is no need of embarrassing thoughts about being a slow learner as no one will monitor the aspirants.
A salient feature which is associated with the e-Learning is the way it allows the learner in choosing a place. This kind of practice is a break from the regular and traditional routine where students will have to be present at a fixed physical space called as classrooms. Here, in e-Learning, it is totally a contrast, as the place would be the one the aspirant chooses. Thus, the candidate is offered a choice to learn it at the place he/she wishes to sit such as a train or a plane.
In a normal classroom teaching, there is always lack of understanding among the students about the concepts of a subject completely. The problem is that the things that are taught have no video representation. With the absence of this visualization of few elements, it becomes quite difficult for the learners to get a complete idea of how the concept really sinks into a situation. The e-Learning eliminates these all drawbacks because there are pictures to help the students to understand in a better way.
A normal regular learning requires heavy usage of papers from both the tutor and the pupil sides but it is not the case with the e-Learning mode. Here everything is completely electronic and the regular practice is also arranged in such a way that the students will have to fill the answers to the questions on the PC or electronic platform itself. Thus, there is a lesser need for papers and hence there is a lesser need to chop down trees. In a way, it helps for the benefit of the environment.
Since there is no need of any individual to move from place to place for the need of learning, the money that is usually spent in transportation and the time that is consumed in moving will be eliminated. Thus the e-Learning would seem to be effective as it provides many benefits.
